Prayer & Worship

We are a community seeking God, primarily through prayer and worship together. We gather daily to pray and worship, aiming to create a special space at SPB for His presence. Besides our community activities, we serve as a house of prayer for North London and hold prayer events for the area. Our chapel is open for personal prayer and retreats.

The Open

On the third Wednesday of every other month we host the ‘Open’ where anyone is invited to join our resident community for an evening of prayer and worship in the chapel from 7.30pm. Future dates TBC

House of Prayer & Worship

St Peter's Bourne is also a house of prayer and worship where individuals can pray and where will host led times of corporate intercession and worship. (This aspect of SPB is currently paused and will restart later in 2026).

Community Rhythm

Our community rhythm at St Peter’s Bourne includes morning prayers together and on Wednesday evenings we eat together and have a time of prayer and worship time as a community. During the day the chapel is regularly used by community members and others wanting to pray or intercede for North London.

We believe prayer changes the world, and we live in the legacy of those who have given their lives to make St Peters Bourne a thin place, where the presence of God is tangible and where we are moved by his compassion for the world.

It’s a joy to open our doors and invite people to come and contribute to the life of player that is flowing out from this place!
